Read about the Epic Journey from Capetown to Cairo
Aid Projects set up by Rainbow Vision Trust

In February 1999 Dirk and Marie Nicasi from New Zealand, drove overland from Capetown to Cairo, on a 27 month camping, and "meet the people" expedition. After sailing with their truck 'Murtle' on a freighter from Alexandra to Italy they spent another 6 months or so driving through Europe until at last they sold good old faithful Murtle to an East European after which they flew back to New Zealand.

The focus of their journey was a GOODWILL TOUR, the first building block upon the foundations of "RAINBOW VISION TRUST" (RVT).
During their epic journey, prospective aid projects were catalogued, wonderful photographs were gathered and they dairied their amazing encounters.
